Alcohol Content: 13.5%

Vinification: Natural fermentation at a controlled temperature (max 24/26°C). Maceration in stainless steel bowls for about 20 days with daily mixing. Then seasoning for a minimum of 36 months in french or slavonian oak barrels.

Tasting Characteristics: Ruby red in color, closer to pomegranate, after some years it acquires a tint of amber. It has a complex, intensive and elegant bouquet with scent of undergrowth and predominance of violet and musk. The taste is strong, hot, dry but not much, pleasantly tanninic, lively, harmonious and lingering.

Rosso di Montalcino DOC

Tasting Characteristics: Ruby red in color. It has a complex, intensive and elegant bouquet with scent of undergrowth and predominance of violet and musk. The taste is strong, hot, dry but not much, pleasantly tanninic, lively, harmonious and lingering.

Barco Reale Di Carmignano DOC

Grape Variety: 75% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo Nero, 10% Uva Francesca (Cabernet), 5% other approved red berry varieties

Tasting Characteristics: Bright ruby red colour. Intense aroma, fine, fruity, hints of cherry, dried rose. In the mouth it is soft, medium-bodied, sapid and persistent.

Chianti Villa Di Monte

Grape Variety: 90% Sangiovese, 7% Canaiolo, 3% Colorino.

Alcohol Content: 12.5%

Vinification: The Chianti is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and refined in concrete vats.

Tasting Characteristics: The nose of this Chianti shows floral tones with cherry like fruit and some herbal undertones. The taste is classic with an opening of cherry and red fruit which is woven together by subtle mineral shadings and a delicate herbal touch. In the mid palate there are some dry tobacco tones.

Vinification: At least 18 months, partly (30%) in French tonneaux of 3.5 and 5 hectolitre capacity and partly (70%) in Slavonian oak casks.

Tasting Characteristics: Dark ruby red colored, perfumes of red cherries, forest fruits, leather. Dried herbs make way to a ceder and licorice mid-pallet. Focused and elegant. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a long finish. Classic in style and as noble as the name implies.

Vinification: 24 months of which 12 in French oak tonneaux of 3.5 and 5 hectolitre capacity and 12 months in Slavonian oak casks, finishing in the bottle for 12 months.

Tasting Characteristics: Ruby red colored, perfume of red and black cherries, violets, licorice and dried flowers.. Tones of chocolate and ceder mingle with ripe fruit on the pallet. Slightly more modern in style it looses none of its elegance and focus. Medium-full bodied, with worthy tannins and a caressing finish.

Acanto Sangiovese-Cabernet Sauvignon

Grape Variety: 85% Sangiovese and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon

Vinification: Maceration and fermentation in steel tanks for 15 days, with pumpovers, punch downs and delstages. Malolactic fermentation is in French oak. The wine is barrel aged for 6-8 months, and bottleaged for 3-6 months.

Tasting Characteristics: Deep ruby in color. Aromas are Intense and complex, with red and black forest berry fruit, peonies, violets, juniper, vegetal accents, and underbrush. The flavor is intense, persistent, and nicely structured. It is rich and fresh on the palate, with powerful tannins and smoky notes in the finish.

Vinification: 10-12 days maceration and fermentation in steel tanks, with gentle punch-downs and brief pumpovers. Then malolactic fermentation in cement, and 6 months of bottle age.

Tasting Characteristics: Deep ruby in color. Pleasingly complex nose with red berry fruit, in particular sour cherry, raspberry and mulberry, and floral accents with characteristic roses, followed by mentholated accents and herbs, in particular sage. The flavor is intense and powerful, with silky tannins and vegetal accents. A balanced, elegant wine.

Tasting Characteristics: This Chianti Rufina Riserva is soft with a medium to full body. An elegant nose opens to aromas of dark cherries, licorice, tobacco and spices. The wine has a graceful and firm finish with well matured and firm tannins. Its good structure and beautiful acidity makes this wine a perfect partner for dishes with meats, cheeses or charcuterie.

Vin Santo dessert wine

Grape Variety: Sangiovese, Malvasia Bianca, Trebbiano

Alcohol Content: 12%

Vinification: Vin Santo del Chianti Rufina Riserva starts its history in the specially designed "Vinsantaia", a space under the roof where the grapes (Trebbiano, Malvasia bianca and Sangiovese) are hung from rafters to dry from the harvest until December. The Vin Santo is then sealed into small barrels ("caratelli") for a minimum of ten years. The wine that is left after the long aging time (typically only 2/3) is then carefully separated from the lees and bottled.

Tasting Characteristics: Vin Santo is fresh, focused and elegantly open with a thick and exquisite mouth-feel. On the palate it shows harmonious, with oil, toffee, walnut, leather, caramel and dried apricot character. Dried fig and orange peel accents lead to an everlasting finish.
The multiple layers, long finish, acidity and good structure make this wine a perfect partner for nut based cakes, dessert cakes, liver-paté dishes and complex cheeses.
